Hacklebarney, heat, new york, & other adventures.

As, this morning, I came face-to-face with my final day in New Jersey I was determined to make it the best. So, we went to Hacklebarney state park! Yesterday, we visited NEW YORK CITY!!

This is Hacklebarney state park, well, at least ONE of it's amazing waterfall sights. In Hacklebarney we: 

1. Got wet in the many streams 

2. Climbed various rock formations

3 Hiked the shady trail, hence the HOT day!!

4. Learned about some cool trees.

5. I got a saw grass cut. Ouchie!

Since yesterday was our voyage to the one and only NEW YORK CITY, here are some cool pics from what we did. 

The Times Square hershey candy factory housed Reese cups, hershey bars, hershey kisses- all your favorites! It smelled like chocolate, is home of the world's largest chocolate bar & world's largest chocolate syrup container... we bought a small bucket packed with about 100 bite-size candies that me & the boys pumped out of the candy machine ourselves!

We enjoyed dinner at Carmine's resturaunt in Times Square, as well. It tastes so good, I would definitely reccomend it to everyone. They serve food in courses, and BOY is it the best I've had. No regrets going there. 

For the hit show, Sand Masters on the travel channel, look out on an upcoming Wednesday night at 10pm, YOU MIGHT SEE ME on the episode... in NY, I watched them filming & carving a sand sculpture of three Navy seals! Please, I was watching the episode being filmed so i would just suggest it!

Last of all, a huge highlight- musuem of natural history! here are several pictures from the musuem you can enjoy.

Clothes. All from Justice.

Yes, we made it to N.J. and arrived at one in the a.m. Gramms woke me up at 6 to go to her school... *_* But, as everyone knows- NJ is a great place! We went shopping, out to dinner, out to breakfast, and later we're going to Michael's for some scrapbooking stuff for myself! Here are some photos of things i got clothing-wise.

Yellow, pink, white& silver tee. Reads "Be happy... Justice." You wear a tank top underneath, because it is partially see-through. 

A blue, green, and white, decaled tank top. Very stylish and flowy, comfortable and light as well. I just love this... so stylish. 

The cool things about this shirt, is that I'm going to summer camp this June! Also, the shirt is comfortable and is made with scented ink smelling like s'mores. It reads "camping is s'more fun with friends" Very cool!

This is a denim romper. It has a built 

in shirt and pants. For more style, you wear a tank top underneath for a pop of colour. 

Speaking of colour, these neon-green athletic polyester shorts add a POP of vibrant green. In the photo they don't look so neon, but in real life- WOWZAH!

Hence the fact that either tommorow or monday we're going into N.Y.C., this glittery, girlish Yankee's cap was to die for. Go Yanks! 

This black headband was definitely a must. It has a pink, curly "S" on the bow! So cool.

Also, i Chose some cool colorful nail decals.

Finally, i also picked up some "crackle" nail polish. To use, put on any color of nail polish and follow up with crackle. It crackles up, revealing a little of your bottom coat. Cool!

Snake.

Yesterday I did something my Dad would never have the courage to do: I held a 12 inch garder snake and named it "Smiley." No, really- Dad's terrified of snakes!!

Toothless wonder.

Just yesterday, I had 4 grown up teeth pulled. My mouth felt so numb it was almost like Play Doh! Well, my mouth did hurt pretty bad yesterday and I'm struggling a little with brushing my teeth without those teeth and struggling with eating beause I don't want to hurt my gums!!! Well, here are a couple (not so gory) pictures of my new toothless areas of my mouth. Mom said I'm pretty much a trooper so sometime today I get a banana split for my bravery! :_) And Kenny, by the way, gets a banana split for hitting a homerun yesterday. But don't worry, Steve and JJ won't be left out! Oh, PS- I got a blood stain on a brand-new white shirt. *Smooth move, Sydney, wearing a new white shirt when getting teeth pulled.*

First 2 teeth. These ones hurt just a teeny bit this morning.  But as for the other two puppies...

Their picture doesn't want to load. Maybe another day? The other two hurt more by the way!

Oh, before I go I'm excited to be going to new jersey in 4-5 days! It'll be so fun.

Top 3 Signs of Summer.

Jee, after glancing over the calandar I came to a quick realization: summer is only less than a month away! Here are some signs that, yes :), summer has finally made it's long-waited-for approach.

Sign #1- Watermelon is getting juicer by day!

Sign #2- My hair is enlightening by the minute!

Sign #3- I'm getting hyper. That's a sign that school is getting more FUN as the year wraps.

A List of Three.

Yea... finally May weather is kinda sorta average. Please, summer's only a month away! Thankfully it reached up to 83 today which is a bleeeessssing to our neighborhood. ;-) Here's a list of some going on's, thoughts, dreams, just typical stuff I'd like to share randomly. Oh, and before we begin I'd like to *sneeze.* Glad I got that outta the way, ya know!!

1. JJ's new obsessions. Because JJ's obsessions change on a regular basis, I'd like to introduce a few new ones: a) jj loves being outside. Coming inside is painful to him . b) speaking of the outdoors, JJ also loves the trampoline so hecan "jump". c) Whenever Ken and Steve are playing video games, which they do a lot, JJ will grab a controller NOT in use and "play" the game with it.

2. My cat's are supposedly "famous". Yeah, famous. All the neighborhood cats, lately, have been hanging around our porch, feasting on the cat food and mingling with Perry and Lacey. We've seen orange tabby cats, grey stripe kittens, etc etc. No wonder they've a food shortage!

3. Um...I'm a little hyperactive lately. I can't help it. In school, I stand up by my desk. When music's on, I dance no matter how crazy it seems. Right now I'm standing up and fidgeting. Ya, well, that's just my recent self. Might not be so-interesting but...never...mind.

Mother's Day Breakfast.

This morning, I accidentally woke up JJ so mom had to come upstairs and get him. So much for sleeping in on her day... When she went back to bed, however, I had a realization: it's NOT to late to have Kenny & Steven as your right hand men to cook up a simple, tasty Mom's Day Breakfast for her without the help of an adult.


How I made a good breakfast for mom this morning...
1- Popped two pieces of wheat bread in toaster.
2- Ken and Steve arrived in kitchen, Kenny "corrected" the way I spread pb on toast.
3- Steven and Ken poured mom some milk.
4- Steven got out the cheese, we cut it up and arranged on plate.
5- We took 2 cartons of Trix yogurt and poured it into a bowl.
6- We took crackers, spread PB&J on them and stacked.
7- Cut the stem off a rose and put on plate as a decal.
8- Used crayon to make mom a card. Gave to Mom.

Happy mom's day, mom. Also- to all you moms, aunts, grandmas, etc out there. You're all really handy!!!!!!!!!!!!
