Juste Moi Encore Une Fois Ici-bas

Title is in French. Have it translated on Google, if you're sooo curious. =)
oh, la coupe! la coupe! la coupe du ruban à conduits précieux. J'ai raté cette caractéristique de la vie, restaurée par Chritmas, sous la forme de dons. Oh, the cutting! The cutting! The cutting of precious duct tape- I missed this feature in life, restored at Christmas in the Form of Gifts.

Christmas was great! Everyone who gifted me gave me at least one thing I truly enjoyed. I'll be giving ya'll thank-you notes as soon as posisble, if I haven't already. Seriously, the season was magical, and it couldn't be without y-o-u!!!!!!

Old news: Christmas! We woke up at 7am, opened gifts. Then we went to Gma Denise and Gpa Petes and opened their gifts. Then we headed to Stow (Aunt Shawna,Uncle Matt's) and opened even MORE gifts there. Thanks everybody!!

Just-IN news: Not mucho.. hanging out.. orthodontist appt on Wednesday. Also, from 4:30-10:00pm on Wednesday is a church lockin. Yay!

Avez-vous un bon temps, et vérifier dans bientôt!

L'amour,

Falalalalalalalala ;} Christmas Jumbo Special

“FALALALALALALALALA”
Before we begin, let's look at Christmas past. ;) ;)

How'd this get in here? Well, ha-ha-ha, it is true!!

I always used to read TIME For Kids. I remember thinking I was a sophisticate when I read from it!!

*Yikes.. I'm going off topic!! More Christmas pictures? Roger that.*
I looked so "sophisticate" at my Christmas piano recital years ago.

About to perform my Piano.

At my recital. I remember, that day I came right to my performance after a soccer camp!

Performing!
Jammies!

"Did I play good, Mom?"

So excited!

Kenny says in a recent school assignment to name your favorite present : "A dog. When I saw the picture that was wrapped, I started to cry and said "why did I get a picture of a dog for Christmas??" The next Friday, I got it and it was so cute! It was a mountain cur. His name is Sam and he just loves to hunt, and play with people." Isn't that just gorgeous folks?!

And of course, the season brings: wrestling -_o
(Not particularly my "thing")

Yikes, I know I receive a “D-” in the “blogging regularly” department (only since I don’t give F’s) … I’ve just been caught up in a frenzy of endless activities: basketball, school, reading work, writings, church group, etc. and I (sadly, yep) haven’t made much time lately to blog. I will become more regular with Sydney 4.0 as my new year’s resolution. J But, it’s only (4) days until Christmas… that adds to even MORE bustle. *<|;-)>>> Ho, ho, ho! We’ve watched movies like A Christmas Story, Rudolph, The Polar Express, and Santa Buddies, Elf, National Lampoon Christmas Vacation (really only me, mom, and dad during that movie- Kenny and Steve retreated to playing video games on their TV in their bedroom.) But here I am. This post is going to be sized up since I haven’t posted lately. Anyhow, aside from movies- we’ve also been quite caught up in our traditions! I performed at the school-wide Christmas concert yesterday, we decorated the tree a month ago, we are (about) to see Christmas lights, hot chocolate w/ Polar Express DVR, just the average Joe drills. More traditions are to come- tomorrow G. Grandma Betty will be giving us our jammies to wear on Christmas eve night, we’ll go to the Mom’s-side-of-the-family Christmas Eve Bash, on Christmas we open gifts from Santa and watch Prince of Peace (about Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem), we go to Grandma Denise and Grandpa Pete’s to open gifts, then we go to my Aunt and Uncle’s to open even M-O-R-E presents. My insides are melting… I love Christmastime so much. It’s joyful, it’s happy. It’s not just the presents for me- I really have this spirit inside of me and it’s indescribable, truly, truly, TRULY. For Christmas, I’M not even sure what I want!! There are so many things out there I’ve wanted… but I’m clueless to what I’ll be receiving. On a “giving” note this season, I packed a bag full of gifts for a girl in a 3rd-world country that doesn’t experience the holidays quite as plentiful as the rest of us. Giving those things made me feel completely spirited. I want to give lots of things, but there’s only so much you CAN offer. Also, I truly hope that everyone reading this has a beneficial Christmas! A) remembers the true meaning (Jesus), B) Enjoys the gifts they GIVE and RECEIVE, C) Is full of the spirit and hope of Christmas, that it lasts not just leading up to it, but year-round. Im such a sucker for making Christmas cookies, decorating, yada-yada-yada!! Today my basketball team has pictures, and then I might go to youth group at church again. It’s so fun.
Another milestone that’s coming up is my 2nd year of having braces. On 12/23/09, I got my first set of metal mouth: pink and green rubber bands. I showed them off at the C-mas Eve Party. Last year, it was a milestone, and this year is probably my last anniversary and last Holiday with a set of metal running through my pearly whites. :} Brace-facing it is so fun. I’m also looking forward to getting them off … probably in like summer of 2012, or sometime around 7th grade’s beginning. I took my braces to Hawaii, too. They are my favorite souvenir of the trip! J J J
This post is beginning to fatten up. Maybe I should end it here, maybe I shouldn’t? Today IS the first day of C-mas break. J Oh, joy!
Yes, I see that grimace on your face. You want me to stop buffering about random, recent topics. I see it! STOP MAKING THAT FACE! Thank you. J Okay…
That was long. Thanks for your time, and Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

Run-On Queen

Run ons rock!                                                           Crown                                                MEE

Okay so I have always wanted to blog my own original run on sentence but I figured I should wait until I could find a run on that makes since such as this one but anyways today was a great day for a number of reasons, we filmed a movie called Pearl Fishers in excel and I went to the Santa shop to shop for parents, siblings, and friends but today was also sad because my teacher Mrs. Stone is having a baby HOWEVER she has to resign from teaching (but shes awesome) and move to Alabama with her husband who is in the military so we have to get a new teacher after Christmas break it's soooo sad. well hopefully you enjoyed my runon sentence, that's it and have a great day and don't sniff the fruit salad and keep viewing this epic blog.

What I LOVE About Winter!

As winter is approaching, here's the list. (;

one: Umm, helloooo. SNOW! Snow is the bomb. Pasting on your thick winter wear, then jumping into the frosty flakes is joyous! I love my red nose and cheeks afterward, peeling off my wet clothes and snuggling in a hot towel while drinking cocoa and watching movies.
two: 'tis The Season.. CHRISTMAS!! Jesus' birth, St. Nick, gifts, giving, and the holiday spirit. The festives, the fun... Christmas ... it just doesn't get any better than that! Lalallalalalala tis the season to be jolly falalalalalalalala! I'm much looking forward to it. If ya need a list from me, JUST ASK!
three: Hot cocoa! ^ Pictured above. Mmm, I love taking Mom's Swiss Miss cocoa k-cups and brewing them in the coffee maker. Then, pop in a neon pink or green straw, and nestle in a blanket to watch a movie. MM yea!
four: Basketball! This winter, yepyabet I'm playing bball. I'll post a schedule as soon AS I get one, so be sure to watch a game. 'k, thanks. :)

YOURS until next time,
Sydd:)

11.11.11

11.11.11 is today, as well as Veteran's day and Pa Craig's birthday! It would be awesome to have your birthday on 11-11-11. Also, at 11:11 on 11-11-11 I made a wish.
But let's not just focus on the numbers... veterans risked their lives so that our country can be safe, and free. They battled and put their lives on the line, for our benefit! The school had a Veteran's Day program today which I sang at!! America..we sing.. to.. you.. America!!
I know several veterans. (6 to be exact!) We gave a photo of Grandpa Bill to the school, and they played it on a picture slideshow while I sang Lonestar- "I'm Already There". I'm already there... don't make a sound.. I'm the sunshine in your hair, I'm the whisper in the wind, I'm your imaginary friend. And I know the love that we share, ooooh I'm already there. We may be, a thousand miles apart. But I'll be with you wherever you are!
To sum it up, thank a Vet. Thank you veterans, we really do appreciate it. ALSO CHECK OUT THIS MEANINGUL PHOTOGRAPH:
The only man who stood as the flag went by, was the one in a wheelchair.

Football '11.

All I can say is, I've only been to 3 or 4 of their games, and ... Kenny #44and Steven #12 are BOTH standouts!! I'm not just saying that cause they are my bros, their names are called about 75% of the time. From Kenny's touchdowns to Steven's conversions and both of their tackles, wow. Here are some pics...and Dad is the head coach.

Ken running the ball.
