The Inside Scoop: Camp Gideon!!

I just got home from Camp Gideon yesterday in time for JJ's birthday party. I had so much fun at camp, it was amazing there- but seeing everyone back at the party was good as well... here are some pictures as well as information about Camp!!!!!!!!!!! (More to come later.) Ignore the webcam-photo-quality.

At camp, we did a craft where you take a Scrabble piece, design it yourself, and it becomes a necklace. Hence the 2011 theme "Get your head in the game... it's time to make your move"

Some of the adventures include:

-Swimming, + a rockin' water slide

-Archery

-Lip-sync contest... my cabin won!

-Canoeing on Lake David

-Chapel time, with neat songs and information.

-Capture the Flag

-Camping outside

& Those are just to name only a F-E-W!!

Packing for camp.

Tommorow at 5:30ish Ill BE GOING to camp gideon's adventure camp from Sunday evening to Friday afternoon. JJ's 2nd birthday party is Friday at 5:00 at the Guilford Lake Pavilion on Teegarden road. You can rsvp, most of family got invitations!! I'm looking forward to seeing you there and sharing what I did at camp. Randomly, here are some photos from one timeI went mini golfing with my bro's.

At the moment, I'm packing up for Summer Camp__ clothes, insect reppelent, etc etc etc!

Must you know, I won't be able to post from Sunday to Friday,, but keep in mind that I will share stories and such as soon as I return! I would like to wish my baby brother, JJ a happy birthday. On Monday, he will be turning two years old at 3pm. Celebrate with us on Friday evening with games, food, and wishes for Justin James. Tommorow's Father's day, so I'd like to say "thanks" to my Dad, and "thanks" to dads nationwide for providing great times and lives to their kids. See you next week! ;-)

JJ: Going on 2

Bugger's turning two on Monday, yea- already. I'll be at camp from, hmm, Sunday to Friday!! So, if you're wondering where all the posts are this week, I'M at C@MP G!DE0N!! So excited. Anyway, I will pay some tribute to lil man.

JJ: at *almost* 24 mos, you: *Have a sick obsession with throwing coins at my head. Especially in the car on drives to Cleveland.* Are so outgoing, and wave to everyone in the store- hello AND goodbye.* Want to be monkey see monkey do. When Ken and Steve wrestle, you wrestle with an invisible person! *Love Car's, Barney, and the Wiggles.* Are obsessed with John Deere tractors. * Have a passion for sucking your lips in and shaking your head "No." and laughing. picture it... it's funny. ill put a video up of it soon!*

3 Hairstyles. Glamourous!*

I am going to attempt, on my own, a few hairstyles on myself. Feedback, anyone? I will provide how to do the hairstyles, as well! These are just a few of my absolute favorites...*

For the double bun, you'll need a moistened comb or brush, two hairbands, and quick hands.

Put hair in regular ponytail, then add an extra hairband on the end- to tie the one on the end- bun it. Actually, only the bottom is the bun. A great hairstyle for anytime! Hint: after you bun the bottom, I like to leave strands of hair out of the bun hanging., pictured above.

A FLIP ME pony is simpler to do than it looks. You'll just need 1 hairband, and a moist hairbrush. Put hair into a regular low ponytail. Then, use your thumbs and forefingers to make a hole at the nape of your neck. Flip the pony through the hole. Great for sports, and school!

Twist-a-Long ponytails are easy, and add PIZAZZ to any outfit. Essential utensils: have the following materials on hand- a moist brush or comb, 2 ponytail holders, optional: cosmetic flower for decoration purposes. Put hair into a regular low side-ponytail. Then, twist the remaining hair into another pony. At the bottom add your decorative flower- or not -it's your decision!

*These hairstyles may not work on all types of hair. =)

I'm officially declaring summer.

I am, yes, officially declaring summer. Not only 'cause I just completed fifth grade with STRAIGHT A'S, but the signs of summer are really showing. The much-anticipated season is blossoming into being quite ligit. If these pictures can't ease you into the beginning of what's summer 2011, barely anything else could. Enjoy! + Happy summer.

Look carefully, try to find me, Kenny, and Steven! Hint: I'm with Kenny, who was a wide-open mouth and Steven's in front of us acting pretty aloof.

These are a few of my favorite things!

When the dog bites. When the bee stings. When I'm feeling sad, I simply remember my favorite things and then I don't feel so bad! Don't ask about the rainbow and star tattoos, I got the temporary tattoos at my friends roller-skating birthday party!!

1. Roller skating. At first, I completely stank at this activity. But a bit later, I was pretty decent. At the Salem Funfactory, my new FAVORITE place, you can go blacklight mini golfing, bounce house, ball pit, roller skating, arcade, and much more.

2. Pineapple. Mom just sliced up some sweet, juicy pineapple and since it's been warm out today, I find the fruit quite refreshing.

3. Summer. Tuesday is the last day of school. Fingers crossed that I get all A'S on my report card.! Prayers? Anyhoo, I'm loooking forward to summer and will most definitely try to keep you posted during the dog days of 20-11.
