Summer '11

Summer was fantastic..but school starts tommorow! Today we're prepping...picking 1st day outfits, loading up the new bookbags...etc.! In case you wondered... I have Mrs.Davis! Kenny has Mrs.Collins (who I've had before!) Steven has Mrs. Sarchet! Well, if you'd like to see my first day outfit and such..you came to the right place. Plus also, after I share the pics I'll tell you how great summer was.

Well, you cannot see my outfit very well but im wearing a navy and white striped v-neck tee shirt, jeans, and white sneakers. Mom says tommorow we'll also wave my hair.

Summer= Was great!

June= a first hoorah: on the 19th I went to Camp Gideon which was soo much fun from canoeing to learning about God to adventuring! Afterwards, we had JJ'S 2nd birthday party at the Guilford lake pavilion.

July= The fourth of July was spent enjoying some fireworks and grilled foods and s'mores! All our beagle puppies (soo cute) are here, as well, and they're just so much fun. I left to go to New Jersey which was just great-- hangin' in NJ, shopping, going to Jersey shore, eating at cool Chester resturaunts etc. Then for my birthday (12) I got some great gifts and cake. Also, happy belated anniversary Shawna and Matt. (:

August= Everyone had a good time together at the ocean,swimming in the pool,chilling, Coligny, and just VACATIONING. Then we all had to seperate. I started soccer- and yesterday i scored a goal, OUR team won 11-1 vs. Salem. Fall softball league is also jjust so much greatness. I was introduced to the four wheeler- just one step ahead of a power wheel (: because it doesnt go very fast but it still is FUN and quick. School starts on the 31st, thanks to everyone who made summer fantastic.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game..? *Part One*

Yesterday we had nothing going on (except my softball practice ,but we skipped it to do this:) we went to the Scrapper's Game at the stadium behind the Eastwood Mall. Anyways, I took some pics on my iPod Touch, however KENNY AND STEVEN are using it, so i can't share 'em. But...

Look who got a game ball?

Well, it's nothing compared to the 3 game baseballs tossed to Ken dog, but at least...I got 1~

News: yesterday we found the 4wheeler key- it was missing.

Kenny says: fishing is fun. Being on the boat is (as he says) frilling and exciting and i love when I catch fish. It's a feeling i can not say. oh yea and its FUN.

Steven says: "Mom, I want to go skiing. It's like riding a skateboard (huh, steven? you've never touched a skateboard.ha) but no wheels and on snow. It looks fun."

JJ says: "Fank oo" (aka thank you) "Tra tra" (aka tractor) "Sisya" (aka sissy)

Also, whenever tractors come on his favorite tv station, Qubo, he screams with delight(:

Sydney says: "I'm like in love with sports all a sudden. I'm playing soccer and softball, I'm practicing for next years' volleyball, and also next year i might do track. So, yea,"

It's more like T.G.I.S.!

TGIS- Thank God It's Saturday! Haha, well this morning from 9am-10:30am I had soccer practice. VERY FUN!! I'm an offensive mid-fielder, which is kind of like the quarterback of soccer, either that or forward is. Anyways, the ground was very dewy but I didn't mind a bit...not to brag, but I was in the lead of the jogging too, and I'm the yougnest on the team. Ok, past is past. I just took a nice long shower and I'm getting ready to go to Bob Sebo's mansion...Bob Sebo is my dad's cousin's uncle. Anyway, we're going their for my Daddy's cousin, Jessica's wedding shower. I'm so excited. As for the meantime, I'm in my Easter dress for the shower, and Mom will straighten my hair soon. Ignore my hair in the picture below,, i just exited the shower.Anyway, how do you like my dress? Leave your thought(s) below in the comments to give me some feedback, I'd appreciate that. Today: Went to mall for school stuff. Had Soccer Prac., It was very fun as usual.

Tomorrow: I have soccer pictures then Ill go to my friend's house and possibly swim there.

Summe 2011r~ A List

Oops, yeah I was going to post more vacation pictures...but how about the next one? Ok! I just wanted to share this season's list. (: Today, I woke up & then Mom took me, Ken, Steve, & JJ to Hibbett's sporting goods and I got soccer cleats, a soccer ball, soccer socks, and a new soccer outfit. My old cleats from indoor soccer aren't for indoor(: ! By the way, I've got soccer practice tonight. Maybe mom will take some photos and I will share them if so. In the meantime, Mom's reading the newspaper, JJ's playing with his tractor and the boys are playing games. We'll be going outside soon! Anyway, at the near-end of each season I make a list, so here's Summer 2011's a~list.

This summer...

1. I set the record for the longest sore-throat.

It's not exactly something to carry on with pride, but...

2. I've been driving in a car for about 1,000 hours literally.

Trips to Boardman, Salem, Canton-, New Jersey, Vacation,  & etc. I'm surprised I haven't gotten carsick this summer. Traveling to those places is always a bigggggg treat.

3. Our gardens' weeds grew taller then Dad.

Hard work pays off, then when you go on vacation it catches up to you. (:

4. Puppies. Three batches of 'em.

One litter had six puppies, one had seven, and one had seven but five died. Puppies are such a joy to have around. We're keeping a few, but selling the majority. Does anyone want a beagle puppy?

5. Perry's growing back his fur.

In June, Perry (My cute cat) lost a little bit of fur on his neck and tail, but it's hardly noticeable- except on his tail. Now, it's growing back. Kudos to Perry.

6. The epic battle to sit up front the most this summer.

Sydney: 42. Kenny: 26. Steven: 31. (Estimate)

ok, fine- I utterly HATE promising, but hopefully i can keep this promise- I will try to post more vacation pictures next time. There. Happy? (: Until next time.

I apologize for not posting in a week, 'cause i was busy enjoying the beach, the beachouse, the pool, & MUCH MORE fun things at HHI SC Vacation! Anyway, mom just downloaded pics from her camera of vacation, so here they are. This is only round one of the photos, so stay tuned for MANY more. Lots of pics this year!! But now I'm back in Ohio safe and sound. :) From getting stung by a jellyfish* (again!) to seeing dolphins, to boogie boarding, to making a sandcastle, to swimming, it's been totally fun. Anyhow, hopefully when you look at these pictures Mom took you'll feel as if you were there too!! Keep in mind, I'll share MORE pics in future posts**, 'cause these aren't even a quarter of the pictures to show. (: -Sydney
*Yes, i did get stung by a jellyfish for the second time!! Be careful in the ocean after a rain when it's cloudy, and we treated the sting with vinegar & shaving cream. Kennny & Uncle Matt also got stung
