“FALALALALALALALALA”
Before we begin, let's look at Christmas past. ;) ;)
How'd this get in here? Well, ha-ha-ha, it is true!!
I always used to read TIME For Kids. I remember thinking I was a sophisticate when I read from it!!
*Yikes.. I'm going off topic!! More Christmas pictures? Roger that.*
I looked so "sophisticate" at my Christmas piano recital years ago.
About to perform my Piano.
At my recital. I remember, that day I came right to my performance after a soccer camp!
Performing!
Jammies!
"Did I play good, Mom?"
So excited!
Kenny says in a recent school assignment to name your favorite present : "A dog. When I saw the picture that was wrapped, I started to cry and said "why did I get a picture of a dog for Christmas??" The next Friday, I got it and it was so cute! It was a mountain cur. His name is Sam and he just loves to hunt, and play with people." Isn't that just gorgeous folks?!
And of course, the season brings: wrestling -_o
(Not particularly my "thing")
Yikes, I know I receive a “D-” in the “blogging regularly” department (only since I don’t give F’s) … I’ve just been caught up in a frenzy of endless activities: basketball, school, reading work, writings, church group, etc. and I (sadly, yep) haven’t made much time lately to blog. I will become more regular with Sydney 4.0 as my new year’s resolution. J But, it’s only (4) days until Christmas… that adds to even MORE bustle. *<|;-)>>> Ho, ho, ho! We’ve watched movies like A Christmas Story, Rudolph, The Polar Express, and Santa Buddies, Elf, National Lampoon Christmas Vacation (really only me, mom, and dad during that movie- Kenny and Steve retreated to playing video games on their TV in their bedroom.) But here I am. This post is going to be sized up since I haven’t posted lately. Anyhow, aside from movies- we’ve also been quite caught up in our traditions! I performed at the school-wide Christmas concert yesterday, we decorated the tree a month ago, we are (about) to see Christmas lights, hot chocolate w/ Polar Express DVR, just the average Joe drills. More traditions are to come- tomorrow G. Grandma Betty will be giving us our jammies to wear on Christmas eve night, we’ll go to the Mom’s-side-of-the-family Christmas Eve Bash, on Christmas we open gifts from Santa and watch Prince of Peace (about Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem), we go to Grandma Denise and Grandpa Pete’s to open gifts, then we go to my Aunt and Uncle’s to open even M-O-R-E presents. My insides are melting… I love Christmastime so much. It’s joyful, it’s happy. It’s not just the presents for me- I really have this spirit inside of me and it’s indescribable, truly, truly, TRULY. For Christmas, I’M not even sure what I want!! There are so many things out there I’ve wanted… but I’m clueless to what I’ll be receiving. On a “giving” note this season, I packed a bag full of gifts for a girl in a 3rd-world country that doesn’t experience the holidays quite as plentiful as the rest of us. Giving those things made me feel completely spirited. I want to give lots of things, but there’s only so much you CAN offer. Also, I truly hope that everyone reading this has a beneficial Christmas! A) remembers the true meaning (Jesus), B) Enjoys the gifts they GIVE and RECEIVE, C) Is full of the spirit and hope of Christmas, that it lasts not just leading up to it, but year-round. Im such a sucker for making Christmas cookies, decorating, yada-yada-yada!! Today my basketball team has pictures, and then I might go to youth group at church again. It’s so fun.
Another milestone that’s coming up is my 2nd year of having braces. On 12/23/09, I got my first set of metal mouth: pink and green rubber bands. I showed them off at the C-mas Eve Party. Last year, it was a milestone, and this year is probably my last anniversary and last Holiday with a set of metal running through my pearly whites. :} Brace-facing it is so fun. I’m also looking forward to getting them off … probably in like summer of 2012, or sometime around 7th grade’s beginning. I took my braces to Hawaii, too. They are my favorite souvenir of the trip! J J J
This post is beginning to fatten up. Maybe I should end it here, maybe I shouldn’t? Today IS the first day of C-mas break. J Oh, joy!
Yes, I see that grimace on your face. You want me to stop buffering about random, recent topics. I see it! STOP MAKING THAT FACE! Thank you. J Okay…
That was long. Thanks for your time, and Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
